Personal statement

Dr. Florence Tydeman is a Knowledge Exchange (KE) Associate in the Mathematics and Statistics Department. She began her career in statistics at the University of Strathclyde, where she completed her PhD in Spatial and Spatio-Temporal Modelling of Infectious Diseases, following a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics. Florence then undertook a postdoctoral position at Queen Mary University of London as a Statistician/Epidemiologist with the COVIDENCE UK study team before joining King's College London as a Research Associate in Medical Statistics.

At King's College London, Florence was based in the Unit of Statistics within the Department of Population Health Sciences, with a joint appointment in the Department of Women and Children's Health. She now currently works part-time at the University of Strathclyde, focusing on Knowledge Exchange, and part-time as a Research Associate in Statistics/Epidemiology within Women’s and Children’s Health at King's College London.
